The Institute for Transport Planning and Systems (IVT) is part of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) in Zurich. The mission of the institute is:
- To generate new knowledge for the planning, design, safety, operation and maintenance of transport systems
- To transfer this knowledge through teaching, further education and applied research
The IVT is divided into three groups: Traffic Engineering, Transport Systems and Transport Planning.
