The RailZurich2009 Book of Abstracts including the CD-Proceedings with all papers and presentations of the two key-note speakers can be ordered for CHF 30.-. Please use the IVT's online order link.
Presentations of a number of speakers are now made available at the website.
Gabrio Caimi was selected by the IAROR board as winner of the YOUNG RAILWAY OPERATIONS RESEARCH AWARD.

Registration has closed. Due to the large amount of participants, late registration is not possible.

In addition to the Seminar, a snow-weekend in Engelberg including 2 nights and dinner in a 3 star hotel is organized. More information and registration for the weekend is provided in the Snow-Weekend Section.

The organization and review committee of the seminar will nominate the best papers for publication in the forthcoming special issue in the Transportation Planning And Technology Journal in 2010.
A preliminary schedule is published. The technical visit will take place in Lucerne and Zug with the support of SBB AG and systransis AG.
Bernard Guillelmon (CEO, BLS AG) and Dr. Peter Eichenberger (Project Management ETCS, SBB AG) confirmed their pariticipation as Keynote presenters at the RailZurich2009.
The abstract submission is now closed. Around 60 abstracts from 19 countries have been received. The authors will be notified by July 31, 2008.
Registration is now open to all authors, presenters and other participants. Please register before January 15, 2009. More information is provided in the Registration Section.
Accomodation booking is the personal responsibility of each participant. Hotel rooms with special IAROR rates are now available. See also the Travel Information and Accomodation website.

After succesful seminars in Delft and Hannover, the 3rd International Seminar on Railway Operations Modelling and Analysis will be held on February 11th - 13th, 2009 at ETH Zurich/Switzerland.
